Especially suitable for commercial vehicles with limited fitting space
RUD Ketten presented a further development of its tried and tested Rotogrip spinning chain at the Nutzfahrzeug-IAA (commercial vehicle exhibition). The Rotogrip CS has been specially designed for commercial vehicles and buses with limited space for fitting chains. CS stands for "compact solu-tion", and emphasizes that the new Rotogrip can even be fitted alongside low profile tyres and pneumatic suspension components.

(3) The rust-free lifting ring LBS-RS is manufactured of material 1.4571, thus resistant against inter-cristalline corrosion in welded condition - in permanent use up to 400°C. Due to an increased chemical resistance by the molybdenum contents and an increased resistance against pitting by chloride-containing means, the LBS-RS is used in different applications such as chemical industry, petrol and coal industry and textile processing.
(6) The load ring, ready for welding, VLBS / LBS is prepared for the direct welding at the transport goods. The welding block (made of easy weldable material 1.0577+N St. 52-3) has been provided with distance nabs as gap indication for the weld and stamped with the WLL identification number. The load bracket can be tilted by 180°, made of high-tensile material, 100% crack detected and thus overall loadable. By a protected spring, the suspension bracket can be maintained in every position; the parts are connected with each other in an unloosable way.
(6) The lifting eye weldable VRBS/RBS is prepared for the direct welding at the transport goods. The welding blocks (made of easy weldable material 1.0577+N St. 52-3) have been provided with distance nabs as gap indication for the weld and stamped with the WLL identification number. The ring latch can be tilted by 180°, made of high-tensile material, 100% crack detected and thus overall loadable.
(3) The lifting eye, ready for welding VRBK/RBK is prepare for the direct welding at 90° corners at the transport goods. Directly attached at the corner, it saves the double number of lifting eyes. The welding blocks (made of easy weldable material 1.0577+N St. 52-3) have been provided with distance nabs as gap indication for the weld and stamped with the WLL identification number. The ring latch can be tilted by 270°, made of high-tensile material, 100% crack detected and thus overall loadable.
(7) Mounting hooks as lifting point at cross bars, for wire slings, round slings and sling and lifting means with eye and oval ring. Stable hook securing same as the Cobra hook VCGH.
(10) Lateral loads with eye bolts acc. to DIN 580 are forbidden!
With multiple-point-suspensions at 2- leg and 3 / 4-leg, the positioning of the eye bolt has to be in the direction of pull. This can only be realized with RUD STARPOINT eye bolts as they are adjustable to the direction of pull when fitted.
The RUD lifting ring VLBG can be turned by 360°, aligned to the direction of pull, the load ring can be tilted, guaranteeing full WLL in all load directions. Complete with a 100% crack detected hexagon insert socket screw for universal use of tools.
The maximum lengths of the screws are adjusted in a way that a material thickness of abt. 8xM (with M8 to M30) or 5xM (with M36 to M48) can be mounted by using a hexagon nut (ISO 7084/7090).
